is a special celebration to benefit St. Helena Montessori School. The very finest restaurants, wineries, champagne cellars, culinary and beverage establishments are present and enhance the event’s festive nature. Auction participants have the distinct opportunity not only to enjoy an evening of good food, good wine and good friends but also to take part in an auction of exceptional quality.
The St. Helena Montessori School was founded in 1981 to offer the community a complete educational environment for children ages two and a half to seven. Urged by many of our families, we expanded our program in 1984 to include children up to the age of twelve.
Our approach to learning is based on the discoveries of Dr. Maria Montessori, world-renowned educator and early pioneer in understanding education as an “aid to life.”
St. Helena Montessori School provides children with a comprehensive and creative learning environment which is designed to meet all aspects of their developmental needs, from their first pre-school experience through the elementary years. The curriculum includes art, music, foreign language, computer skills, gymnastics, and religious instruction.
The school is a non-profit educational corporation 501 (c)(3). The monies from Festa Primavera help us provide financial aid, scholarships, educational materials and improved facilities. The generosity of those attending this event enables children from all parts of the Napa Valley to experience the unique opportunities of a Montessori environment.
We are ever grateful to the members of the business community, donors, guests and friends, for the contributions they make to our Parents Guild for St. Helena Montessori School. This generosity, and that of our exceptionally supportive parent body, enables us to give these children a unique and valuable education.
